What is it we pursue?

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." I believe it was  Albert Einstein who said that. To be of value for God's Kingdom, I would like to add, for whatever this world has to offer will fade away. Of course, most people pursue a good life, happiness, success, an education, or a degree. But, as most of us will learn sooner or later, once we have reached our goal, there surely will be another one waiting.  It never ends. Setting goals What is it we truly pursue? Fame or fortune? Recognition or reward? Satisfaction or success? Although I am all for setting goals (because if we don't, we never accomplish anything), I do realize that doing something valuable is more important than doing something to be successful.
