Talk back at writer's block with confidence!

If you are an author, writer, blogger... well, you probably already know that commencing a writing journey is the beginning of an adventure!

No one goes in a straight line from A to B. Not in the mountains, not in the forest, and certainly not while on a writing journey. We all experience detours, deterrents, and delays with writer's block probably being the biggest scare. I have learned not to fear the empty page on my screen, I talk back, confident that a prompting is on its way!

Sharing our work

Maybe you have put your hand to a memoir, a poetry collection, or a novel. Maybe it is a blog about biblical topics, exercise, cooking, or traveling. Whatever the case, writing is basically an expression of the ideas, thoughts, revelation, and feelings we have. When we share our work, in whatever form, we make it public in order to inspire, encourage, or educate.

Nothing less than a miracle

I began working on my book series about the Ten Commandments in 2004 and in 2005 I took up blogging. It's nothing less than a miracle that I am still here and still going. Hopefully, the same is true for you.

This week I sent out my very first newsletter. Sending out emails may sound old-fashioned, but I realized that at my age not everyone is active on social media or blogging platforms.
